1. About Fynvia

Fynvia is a personal finance calculator and planning application. It provides tools such as SIP, EMI, loan prepayment, deposit, retirement and goal-planning calculators that produce estimates based on the figures and assumptions you enter. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the Fynvia mobile application (the “App”) and the website at fynvia.in (the “Website”).

2. Summary

• No account, login or sign-up is required to use the current version of the App.
• Fynvia does not ask for your online banking usernames, passwords or other banking credentials.
• Fynvia does not connect to your bank accounts.
• Fynvia does not read your SMS messages, including banking or transaction SMS.
• The financial plans and calculation inputs you create are stored locally on your device in the current version of the App.
• The App may use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and Google AdMob to display advertisements. These services may process limited device, advertising, diagnostic and usage information.

3. Financial plans and calculation data

The amounts, rates, durations, goal names and other values you enter into calculators, and any plans you choose to save, are stored locally on your device in the current version of the App. Fynvia does not upload this calculation data to Fynvia servers.

If a future version of the App introduces a feature that stores or syncs data outside your device (for example, an optional backup or account feature), we will explain this clearly within that feature and update this Privacy Policy before it applies to you.

Please note that your device’s own backup services (such as iCloud or Google device backup), if you have enabled them, may include App data as part of your device backups. Those services are governed by the respective provider’s terms and privacy policies and your device settings.

4. No banking credentials or SMS access

Fynvia does not request online banking credentials, does not link to your bank accounts and does not read, access or process your SMS messages. You should never share banking passwords, PINs, OTPs, card numbers or similar credentials with Fynvia, including when contacting support.

5. Analytics

The App may use Google Firebase Analytics to help us understand how the App is used — for example, which screens and calculators are opened, how often the App is used, app version, device type, operating system version, approximate region and crash or performance diagnostics. We use this information in aggregate to improve the App’s features, reliability and usability.

Firebase Analytics may collect identifiers such as an app instance ID and, where permitted by your device settings, advertising identifiers. We do not intend to send the financial values you enter into calculators to analytics services. Google processes this information in accordance with its own policies, including the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase privacy information.

6. Advertising

The App may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob. To deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads, and to help prevent fraud, AdMob and its partners may collect and process information such as device identifiers (including advertising identifiers where permitted), IP address, device and operating system information, approximate location derived from IP address, and information about ad interactions.

Depending on your device settings and region, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. On iOS, you can control whether apps may request to track you through Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Where required by law, the App will request your consent before personalised advertising is used.

Advertisements are provided by third parties. Their appearance in the App does not mean Fynvia endorses or recommends the advertised product or service. Learn more about how Google uses information from apps that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. This website and cookies

The Website is a static informational site. At the time of writing, it does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and it does not ask you to create an account or submit forms. The fonts and files used by the Website are served from the Website itself.

The Website is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs to deliver the Website securely and protect it from abuse. If we add analytics or other cookies to the Website in future, we will update this Privacy Policy.

8. When you contact us

If you email us, we will receive your email address and the contents of your message, including any details you choose to include (such as your device model or app version). We use this information only to respond to you, troubleshoot problems and improve Fynvia. Please do not include sensitive financial information or banking credentials in your messages.

9. Data retention and deletion

Plans and calculation data stored locally remain on your device until you delete them within the App or uninstall the App. Deleting saved plans or uninstalling the App removes that locally stored data from the App, although copies may persist in device backups you have created.

Information processed by Google Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob is retained according to those services’ retention settings and policies. Support emails are kept for as long as reasonably needed to handle your request and for legitimate record-keeping, after which we aim to delete them. You may ask us to delete your support correspondence by emailing [email protected].

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the App and the Website, and keeping your financial plans on your device limits the information that leaves it. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help protect your information by keeping your device updated and secured with a passcode or biometric lock.

11. Children’s privacy

Fynvia is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. International users

Fynvia is designed primarily for users in India, but it may be used elsewhere. Third-party service providers such as Google and Cloudflare may process information in countries other than the one in which you live, under their own safeguards. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal information. To make a request, contact us at [email protected]. For information held by third-party providers, you may also use the controls those providers offer.

13. Not financial advice

Fynvia provides calculation and planning tools for informational purposes only. Results are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. Fynvia does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and nothing in the App or on the Website is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any financial product. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example when we add features or change the services we use. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, provide additional notice within the App or on the Website. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
